As Salamu 'Alaikum brother. You have done a very good job akhi.

Brother I am searching everywhere but not finding my name "WASIQ" anywhere. The similar name is Watheq which as you wrote means 'Firm, reliable, confident.' Is my name appropriate?

Brother I love the name "ABDULLAH" and want to change from Muhammad Wasiq Zafar to it. What is your opinion?

Waiting for your response. Hope your Ramadaan is going great InshaAllah. Salam.

Dear Brother,

Please see the notes below, lets start name our names and our kids names with out using pure Arabic names except the real Muslim names as Mohammad or Mahmood. As you read below the Muslim Arab do not like Muslims non Arab to name the Arabic pure names except the real muslim names. So go back to your local language and find the name and you can add Mohammad to that local meaning name if he is a boy. We do not want to be follower and slaves to the Arab but Mohammad is important for us

Subject: Boy Name

Assalamu Alikum,

Dear Brothers,

My name is Siraj and by the grace of Merciful Allah I got a boy and given his name Saad Siraj. In our country (Bangladesh) almost every boy's first name given Mohammad as a lucky ummat of of prophet Mohammad (PBH).

So, shall I add Mohammad as a first name of my son and the complete name will be Mohammad Saad Siraj, or the Saad Siraj is the correct name?

To add Mohammad as a first name of Muslim boys is mandatory or is it merciful? please explain me details.

Your cooperation will be highly appreciated and causes to grateful to you.

Yes it is important to add Mohammad to any other name. as Mohammad is real Muslim name. I am reading the notes below that Muslims Arab do not like us to name our names or out babies Arabic names but Mohammad is real Muslim name. So call your boy in your Local lanquage meaning name then add Mohammad as it is one of the real Muslims name.

You can get the same meaning that you like but in your local Language. You do not have to name in Arabic Language. Did you read below your comments Arab do not like Muslims non Arab use their Language in names other than Muhammad. As they think they are just copy cat followers.

Waalikum As Salaam Rumaisa,

I am reading the notes below and above from our friend. You don't have to name your child in Arabic name you can get the meaning of Gift of the God (Allah) in your language and name your child. You do not want to be slave to the Arab nation. And it is important to inform all your relatives and friend with that.

Not sure why the non Arab Muslims name their names with Arab names. for me that is just a blind follow.

If non Arab Muslims want to name names for their kids as an Islamic names they should be knowing that the real Muslim names are only:

Mohammad, Ahmad, Mahmod. all other names are Arabic can even other than Muslims name them and it is not likely non Arab Muslims name them. These above names are only likely to be named for non Arab Muslims.

All should be aware of that in order not to be just followers to the Arab (No copy cat more).

If want to use nice names then we have to use from our country nice names and we know the meaning not copy and follow.

We should all agree with that say. In each of our contries are a lot of beautiful names even if we want to name for instance Abdalla meaning of that name is slave of Alla, sure we can translate the word slave and there should be translation of Alla in our local language translate and name our new born kid.
We can add the name Hosaen as it is alos Muslim name. From now on as non Arab Muslims should be starting to name their new born kids each with their local language name not taken from the Arabic countries names

"Mehfuja" seems to be derived from the word MEHFOOZ. Which means "safe" so Mehfooja means "the one (a lady) who is safe".
